David Millhoan, Sr was the commissioner of the S.T.A.R.S. League (South Toledo Area Recreation Society) and the coach for the Colts team, which recruited players from Jones Jr. High and the Jones elementary feeder schools. He was indicted on nine charges, 3 counts of rape, 4 counts of gross sexual imposition, and 2 counts of unlawful sexual conduct with a minor to which he pled not-guilty. The trial is set to begin tomorrow morning before Judge Linda Jennings, the original trial date of May 4 was rescheduled at the request of the defense. It is possible that another continuance could be sought.
In April, Robert Miller the Assistant Prosecutor on the case sent a letter to Millhoan’s attorney advising her that one of the victims reported that Millhoan’s son had driven by the victims and tried to talk to him. Miller advised that if any further incidents took place additional charges for intimidation/retaliation could be sought.
